Papervidya

PaperVidya is a project of Centre for Rural Development (CRD) which is an Indian Non-Governmental Organization registered under Society Act that has been carrying forward its mission since 1994. The aim of paper is to empower youth by providing them with literacy, education and awareness programs to create better health.

We help children with limited means get access to quality education, with a focus on street children and girls by recycling waste papers.

Papervidya is a new initiative of Centre for Rural Development (CRD), a non-profit organisation working since 1994. Rickshaw Bank is another program of CRD.

We, at PAPERVIDYA, bring this concept of donating old Newspapers/Books/Magazines etc. to us ,the sale proceed of which will be used to educate an underprivileged child.

Our Concept – We have been assisting less fortune children in the past by providing books, school fees, uniforms and bags etc and the satisfaction it brings to see a child smile, to see a child jump with joy is huge compared to any materialistic pleasures. Now we intend to make this project a fulltime regular edu-aid for the underprivileged children. For this, we just need your old newspapers.
